Ayant de misérables salaires (80.000 Fcfa environ), ces éboueurs ou agents du nettoiement gagnent à tour de rôle, grâce à cette tontine, une cagnotte de 500.000F cfa, destinée à financer de petits projets (achat de téléviseurs, de meubles, de téléphones portables, financement de baptêmes etc.) Du moins, tel était le but visé au départ. Seulement voilà, les premiers bénéficiaires ont utilisé cette somme pour migrer vers «Barça-Barsakh » ou « Nicaragua-Usa« .
En effet, une dizaine d’agents sont portés disparus en mer ces derniers temps.
