Selon les informations de Libération reprises par Seneweb, le bébé a été retrouvé déposé sous un arbre, par un vigile en service à l'hôtel Calao. Ce dernier était entré dans le parking pour chasser les enfants qui cueillaient du pain de singe, précise le journal.
Celui-ci renseigne que le nouveau-né a été acheminé à l'hôpital Philippe Maguilène Senghor. Il était très éprouvé.
