La nouvelle est tombée tard dans la nuit de ce vendredi. Les affrontements entres les jeunes et les forces de défense et de sécurité ont fait un mort dans la commune de Kolda. Aliou Bodian a rendu l'âme après son évacuation à l'hôpital régional.
Selon une source, de Seneweb le jeune manifestant a succombé à ses blessures suite aux échauffourées entre les forces de défense et de sécurité et les jeunes.
Ces derniers venus en masse accueillir la « Caravane de la liberté », initiée par Ousmane Sonko, ont opposé une résistance aux forces de l'ordre qui lançaient des grenades lacrymogènes pour disperser les manifestants, qui de leur côté, lançaient des pierres.
C'est durant ces affrontements que le jeune Aliou Bodian a été blessé. Évacué d'urgence à l'hôpital régional, il est décédé un peu plus tard.
Le corps sans vie du jeune manifestant est à la morgue de l'hôpital régional de Kolda.
