Un père se suicide avec ses 2 enfants de 5 et 7 ans en précipitant sa voiture dans le canal. Le drame s’est produit dans la nuit de lundi à mardi à Lommel, en Belgique.
Il était environ minuit et demi, lorsqu’une voiture, avec à bord un père et ses deux enfants, est tombée dans le canal Bocholt-Herentals.
Les secours se sont rendus sur les lieux et ont trouvé le véhicule presque immédiatement. Les plongeurs ont extrait les trois occupants de la voiture immergée.
Ils n’ont pu que constater le décès des deux enfants, âgés de 5 et 7 ans, et de leur papa.
Selon les premiers éléments de l’enquête, l’homme se serait suicidé avec ses deux enfants. On ignore pour l’instant les raisons de son geste.
