L'académie aura enregistré ainsi un taux de réussite global de 78.40%.
Ces candidats avaient été répartis entre 67 centres et autant de jurys dont certains comme Djiredji et Sansamba dans le département de Sédhiou ont réalisé un taux de 100%.
Omar Sall et Seni Bassene, respectivement Directeurs des deux établissements, ont adressé leurs remerciements à l'équipe pédagogique, aux groupes de remédiation, aux parents d'élèves mais également aux autorités municipales qui n'ont ménagé aucun effort pendant l'organisation de l'examen.
L'autorité académique s'est félicitée de ces résultats même s'ils sont quelque peu en dessous des performances de l'année dernière.
